2005 CIRA Planning Conference

The Center for Integrating Research and Action (CIRA) held its first Planning Conference gathering in Chapel Hill on June 3-4, 2005. Bringing together local, regional, national and international scholars and activists, this two-day session explored the objectives and possibilities of CIRA as originally conceived by its designers. The attached document outlines the Agenda for the conference, including our original Objectives and identified Strengths and Challenges; during the conference, however, many adjustments and additions were made to these lists. We will post a more extensive report of the conference proceedings and outcomes very soon.
